to the Touro community. They can be accessed on-campus from Touro
computers, and off-campus with a remote Login

10-31-08 - WORKSHOP - Information Literacy Librarian Sara Tabaei attended
"Knowledgebases in Support of Reference Services" at METRO. Libraries
are creating knowledgebases using tools such as FAQ, wikis and blogs. This
helps save information and knowledge being created everyday through the
interaction of librarians and patrons for future reference for both students
and staff alike.

10-31-08 - CONFERENCE - Technical & Electronic Services Assistant Emily
Nurkin attended "Greening Libraries > Greener Communities" at the Bronx
Library Center. In addition to presentations on greening books, building
designs and gadgets, Con Edison provided a display of posters at their
promotional tables.
