Joe Benjamin (Co-Founder and Managing Partner)
Joe is the co-founder, and managing director of the Center for Israeli Innovation. He is also chief executive officer of youngStartup Ventures, a globally recognized venture network focused exclusively on early stage startups and investors. The firm provides fundraising advisory services to private companies and is widely regarded as a leader in its areas of focus. youngStartup Ventures also hosts some of the industry's most prestigious venture capital conferences and invitation-only industry gatherings.

Charles Snow, Ph.D. (Executive Director)
Dr. Charles Snow is Executive Director of the Center for Israeli Innovation. He is also the Dean of Business Programs at Touro College. He has a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Yeshiva University and a Master's and Doctorate in Accounting from the Stern Graduate School of Business of NYU. Dr. Snow was previously Dean of the Sy Syms Business School, Yeshiva University and was an acclaimed professor of accounting at the Sy Syms Business School and at Baruch College, City University of New York. In addition to Dean Snow's strong academic credentials, he is also fluent with the skills and training necessary to succeed in a corporate setting, having served as Vice President and Director of Training for Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. Dr. Snow has appeared on television, radio and in the press on issues related to corporate fraud and has published in professional journals.
Lawrence Bellman, D.P.S. (Co-Founder and Managing Partner)
Dr. Lawrence Bellman is a co-Founder of the Center for Israeli Innovation. He is also an Associate Professor of Management and Director of the Entrepreneurial Institute, which services both the undergraduate and graduate schools. Dr. Bellman has previously taught courses in entrepreneurship, management, international business, and marketing at the graduate and undergraduate levels at Hofstra University and Pace University and at the Sy Syms School of Business of Yeshiva University. He also served as Director of the Entrepreneurial Institute for Yeshiva University. Dr. Bellman received his doctorate in International Business from Pace University, and was Valectorian of his graduating class. He has published in journals such as Business Horizons, Journal of Entrepreneurial Education, and the Journal of the American Telemarketing Association. His current research interests include factors which attract undergraduates to entrepreneurship programs, brand revival opportunities, and improving sales for effectiveness.
Deborah Cohn, Ph.D.
Dr. Deborah Cohn is an Associate Professor of Marketing. Dr. Cohn specializes in the marketing of gifts and has been quoted in the Washington Post as an expert in consumer holiday shopping behavior and in the New York Times as a consultant on consumer behavior. Her research is focused on advertising in new media, consumer gifting, and digital peer-to-peer exchanges via the Internet. Dr. Cohn received her doctorate in marketing from the City University of New York and was a faculty member of the Sy Syms School of Business from 1997 to 2006, teaching courses in marketing, advertising, buyer behavior, and sales promotion. She also developed a course in interactive advertising and received the Lillian and William Silber Professor of the Year award in 2003. In 2004, Dr. Cohn received the Direct Marketing Day Foundation Inc. Professor Award.
Gary Kleinman, Ph.D.
Dr. Gary Kleinman is a Full Professor of Accounting. He has previously taught in Kean University, Rutgers University, Drew University, and Farleigh Dickinson University. His fields of expertise are corporate governance, auditor decisions, authorship ethics in academia, and auditing standards. Kleinman has published his scholarly research in The Journal of Financial Reporting and Compliance, ICFAI Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Managerial Psychology, Research in Accounting Regulation, Journal of Pension Planning and Compliance, Managerial Auditing, the Journal of Applied Business Research and The CPA Journal. Dr. Kleinman's has been a recipient of grant funding from the National Center for Transportation and Industrial Production, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Coopers and Lybrand, and Farleigh Dickinson University. Dr. Kleinman received his MBA in finance and a doctorate in accounting from Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
James Musumeci, Ph.D.
Dr. James Musumeci is the Director of the Graduate School of Business at Touro College and has worked in the training and organizational development field for over twenty years. His experience is in business education, qualitative research, curriculum development, strategic development, group dynamics, communication and leadership training. Dr. Musumeci has chaired a professional consultation committee for the Department of Veterans Affairs, New York Harbor Healthcare Systems, and is a member of the board of directors for the NY Metro chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. He holds a Masters in Human Resources and a Doctorate in Business Education from NYU.
Peter Sperling, Ph.D.
Dr. Peter Sperling is an Associate Professor of Finance and Economics and is spearheading our MBA in Finance. Dr. Sperling received his doctorate from City University of New York. Prior to joining the faculty at Touro's School of Business, Dr. Sperling taught at Pace University, Marymount Manhattan College, Yeshiva University, and Southeast Missouri State University. In addition, Dr. Sperling served as an officer in the corporate treasury department of AT&T and has often been quoted on CBS National Radio, commenting on the Federal Reserve Bank interest rate movements.
Richard Williams
Dick Williams is a Professor and Director of Development and Career Services, serving both the undergraduate and the graduate schools of business at Touro College. He was a professor at St. John's University and served two years as Assistant Dean of the business school at Yeshiva University. Dick spent over 20 years as a Marketing manager in the Broadcast Advertising business. He received his MBA from St. John's and did his doctorate work at NYU.
