Tuition and Fees

 

Tuition as of July1

$400 per semester hour (MS in Education and Special Education Programs, and Bilingual Certification Programs)

$350 per semester hour and $100 additional fee for materials (kits) for Psy 622, Psy 624 & Psy 633(MS in School Psychology Program)

$1050 per course(MS in Instructional Technology)

$1050 per course (MS in Teaching Literacy)

$1150 per course (MS in Mental Health Counseling)

$1050 per course (MS in School Leadership - for NYC students)

$900 per course (MS in School Leadership - for Long Island students)

Application Fee

$50 (non-refundable)

Registration Fee

$100 per semester (non-refundable)

Late Registration Fee

$50 per semester

Transcript Fee

$10 per transcript

Graduation Fee

Tuition and fees are set annually by the Board of Trustees and are subject to review and change without further notice.
 
 
Tuition Refund Schedule
 
A student wishing to withdraw from classes must notify the Administration of the Graduate School of Education and Psychology and the Office of the Registrar by filling out an add/drop form. On approved applications, the following refund schedule will apply.
 
Before the opening of class 100% of tuition
No later than the first class session 90% of tuition
No later than the second class session 75% of tuition
No later than the third class session 50% of tuition
No later than the fourth class session 25% of tuition
After the fourth class session no refund
 
 
Financial Aid
 

A limited number of Dean's scholarships may be available for matriculated students who are enrolled on at least a half time basis (6 semester hours per semester), based on need.

Matriculated students may also apply for a Stafford Loan. This loan is based on the amount requested and the student's financial need. The loan may be subsidized or unsubsidized or a combination of both.

A free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA) is required before applying for a Stafford Loan. A Financial Aid Transcript is also required from all post secondary institutions that a student at- tended. This transcript is mandatory regardless of whether financial aid was received at the institution(s) attended or not.
