Dr.
Imas has been a practicing school psychologist
for 32 years. In addition he has 5 years of classroom
teaching experience (New York City) and has also been
a therapist, parent educator and educational consultant.
In 1976, Dr. Imas co-founded Pinebrook Educational
Group, Inc., a graduate level teaching center,
where he served as Director of Programming and Staff
Development. In this capacity, he trained 7500 educators
in 50 accredited graduate education courses.
Dr. Imas was appointed Director of Special Projects
for Mercy College in 1991. In 1992-1993,
he was the Director and School Psychologist for Day
Camp in the Park, an 8 week summer remedial and recreation
camp attended by at-risk elementary and junior high
school students.
Dr. Imas has been a faculty member of the College
of New Rochelle, Monmouth College, and the University
of Hartford, where he taught graduate courses in communication
skills, self-esteem, removing blocks to creativity
and coping with stress in the workplace. |
