Applicants for admission to this program will be evaluated according to the criteria described below. These criteria will be applied flexibly provided there is alternative evidence of aptitude for graduate study. The official admission criteria are as follows:
1 . Completion of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited academic institution
2 . A minimum undergraduate and graduate grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4-point scale)
3 . Application for admission to the Graduate Division of the Mental Health Counseling
4 . An interview by a faculty committee
5. Two letters of reference from employers and/or professors
6 . Personal statement of the applicant’s goals and objectives
