The mental health counseling field is an emerging field. We are trying to find ways to incorporate the Mental Health Counseling profession into the main stream of mental health services provision. As many of you who have inquired about reimbursement were explained, currently we are not fully reimbursed by all local and federal entities. Hopefully the situation will change soon as we are trying to advocate in Albany and Washington for full reimbursement.  Please see the following link for pending efforts: http://www.amhca.org/news/releases/index.asp#_062607
