In order to expedite the teacher certification process, students who wish to have transcripts sent to the New York State Education Department (NYSED), should have their transcripts sent to NYSED directly by Touro College, rather than sending their transcripts to NYSED on their own.

Matriculated Admission

Any student who has not yet matriculated will need to apply for matriculated admission and, therefore, should bring to his or her meeting with the advisor a completed APPLICATION,a check for $50 made out to Touro College, an IMMUNIZATION FORM, two letters of recommendation, and a brief personal statement of interest in the program. You must arrange in advance for official college transcripts to be mailed to the contact person listed above at the location you wish to attend.

Re: Summer 2008 Registration Notice
Date: February 19, 2008

Please be advised that Summer semester registration will start on March 10, 2008. In order to make an appointment to register for Summer 2008, please call 1-212-463-0400 and ask for any of the following staff members: Jean Philippe Baguidy (ext. 366) Jessica Flores (ext. 367), or Kimberly Felix (ext. 354). Summer 2008 registration for all Manhattan students will be held at 43 West 23rd Street, 3rd Floor. After meeting with program staff for advisement and/or registration, you will proceed to room 320 or 321 and submit your papers to Yvette Colon (ext. 377) or Miguelina Rosa (554). Registration is done in person only. After you complete your registration by meeting with me, you will see the Financial Aid Advisor (if you intend to apply for financial aid/loan) in room 310, then the Bursar in room 316 and, lastly, the Registrar in room 308. Students who plan to graduate in June should see Lisa Fuller in room 321. Ms. Fuller can be contacted at ext. 431 or at lisa.fuller@touro.edu.

Hours: 9:30AM – 4:30PM.

There is no registration on Fridays.

Please be advised that if you do not register on time, you will be charged a $50.00 late registration fee (see GSEP Bulletin, p. 42). There will be no late registrations.
On-Line Courses: Students interested in the on-line courses should register as early as possible.

Please do not forget that grades of incomplete from Fall 2007 must be cleared by the day of your registration. Students with incompletes may not be registered for Summer 2008 courses.

All students must bring in any materials necessary to complete their files. Students
will not be able to register if materials such as official transcript, letters of recommendation, personal statement, etc. are not in their files.

Please take notice of the multiple locations at which courses are being offered. We have provided travel information to assist in selecting a location which best fits your needs.

 

50 West 23rd Street and 43 West 23rd Street-
These locations are reachable via the 23rd street stop on the 1, F, R or V trains.

65 West Broadway - NEW LOCATION!
This location can be reached via the 4 & 5 Trains via the Wall Street Station, 2 & 3 Train via the Chambers Station, the R and W Train via the Rector Station.

Should you need additional traveling information, you can visit Hopstop.com, which is a good source for Mass Transit traveling tips.

Please read the following Immunization Policy
All students born after 1957 must submit documented proof of immunity to Program Directors. This form must be submitted prior to registration. Failure to submit this form will cause a delay in registration.
