Mission Statement

Established in 1971 as a small liberal arts college, Touro College today has, in addition to its undergraduate schools, graduate and professional schools of business, education, health sciences, Jewish Studies, law, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, psychology, and technology. Touro maintains campuses in the United States (New York, California, Florida, Nevada) as well as abroad (Berlin, Jerusalem, Moscow).

Touro's program in Paris, Touro College France, mirrors offerings currently available at the main campus in New York. Touro has also established programs in business, Jewish studies, computer science and psychology at its existing branch campuses abroad. As in New York, students enrolled at the branch in France will pursue a dual curriculum combining career-oriented majors with a program in Jewish studies. Degree requirements are similar to those in effect in New York.

The Paris branch aims to perpetuate the Touro reputation for high academic and ethical standards. It is modeled on the Lander Colleges for Men and for Women in New York (Flatbush, Manhattan, and Queens campuses).

The College experience, however, consists of more than classroom instruction. Touro seeks to foster an atmosphere of warmth, in which close faculty-student relationships, student camaraderie, and individual attention are nurtured in many ways.
