Dr. Herskowitz presentation focused on several aspects of Teamwork, beginning with the importance of teamwork in the successful management of a technology staff. He then analyzed the special characteristics of teamwork, using as examples the top performing teams at IBM. He ended his talk with several tips for students about how to get ahead in an Information Technology career.

Mr. Donald Davis, Senior Information Technology Director for the City of New York Department of Finance, will be a guest speaker in Professor Robert Paskus class, MSIS 622, Legal, Social, and Ethical Issues in Technology. Mr. Davis manages applications and infrastructure for all department Microsoft projects. Prior to this, he served the US Defense Intelligence Agency as a Certified Senior Intelligence Analyst, responsible for gathering information on other nations' military capacities.
Mr. Davis will speak about Ethics and Security in the Military Intelligence Community.

Mr. Abraham Cytryn will be a guest speaker in Professor Robert Klein's class, MSIS 611, Leadership in the Technology Organization, on April 11, 2011. Mr. Cytryn has served Time Inc. for 25 years, the last two years as Chief Technology Officer. He is currently responsible for strategies and core technologies in support of new business models and product development, as well as the enabling technologies for content delivery, search, social networking, tablet and mobile products.
Mr. Cytryn will speak to the class about the changing skills and makeup of successful IT organizations for the next decade.
