Touro University Rome is the first Italian campus of Touro College New York, an outstanding independent institution of higher and professional education. It was founded in New York in 1971 by Dr. Bernard Lander, sociologist and former consultant to the President's Advisory Committee on Juvenile Delinquency and Youth Crime in the United States.
Today, Touro College has approximately 17,500 students studying mostly in New York, but also in California, Florida, Nevada, Moscow, Israel, Berlin and Paris... and now in ROME.
The Touro University Rome School of Business and Management - a direct link to the time-honored American tradition of education business and management science - can make a major contribution to the spread and development of business management methodology. These methods are a vital element in running successful, efficient businesses and institutions, and advancing the growth of the entire economic system.
Together with courses to complete requirements for a major in business and management, the curriculum includes a choice of Jewish Studies program: Hebrew, Tefillah, Talmud and Jewish history and philosophy or general education courses (philosophy, history, sociology, art, etc.).
