NOTE: Students pursuing the CPA track are required to maintain a 3.0
GPA in accounting courses, a 2.5 GPA overall and receive a grade of at least B- on the
accounting screening examination. Students who do not fulfill these pre-requisites are
eligible to qualify for a B.S. in Business management with a concentration in Accounting.
In 1998, for the second consecutive year, Touro College ranked first in the United
States on the Business Law section of the National CPA Examination, based on the
percentage of students passing this subject area; Touro College placed second in the
nation on the Financial Accounting and Reporting (FARE) section of the test; and Touro
College ranked fifth in the United States on the Accounting and Reporting (ARE) section.
