INFORMATION LITERACY
Part of our mission, which adheres to Information
Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education set by the Association
of College & Research Libraries (ACRL), is to help the College community
acquire and refine information seeking and evaluation skills. For
information on what information literacy is and why it is important, read

to Information Literacy.
We have resources that promote information literacy as an integrated
component of the College experience. These are central to the Touro
Information Literacy Initative (TILI), a process to identify and
incorporate information competencies into departmental teaching and learning
