New Deans, New Schools

Touro College has opened three new schools – of social work, technology, and an undergraduate college - and appointed six new deans so far this year. Two of the deans are leading schools – in pharmacy and osteopathic medicine - that are on their way to completing the work that will allow them to open their doors in the future.

Spanning the globe with campus locations at 29 sites in four states and four countries overseas, Touro now is the largest Jewish-sponsored educational institution, with total enrollment exceeding 23,000 students. The most recent institutions to be opened are the Graduate School of Social Work (New York), the Graduate School of Technology (New York), and Touro College South, an undergraduate college that opened in September in Miami. Far along on the drawing boards are Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (New York) and Touro College of Pharmacy (New York).
