Timothy D. Bellavia, an adjunct professor for the Department of Speech and Communication at the New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) as well as the School of Education & Psychology, Graduate Division, has published his fourth children's book for his "We Are All The Same Inside®" line, titled “Sage Goes To Kindergarten.” The main purpose of "We Are All The Same Inside®" is to help young learners understand tolerance and acceptance, while exploring the various aspects of diversity. Bellavia’s programs help teach children ages four to eight to tolerate and accept those who are culturally different through interaction with art media. His productions, fine art and performances have been reviewed in The New York Times, The Daily News, The Village

Voice, New York Newsday, and The Resident, among other publications.

Dr. Joseph Weisberg, dean of Touro’s School of Health Sciences, is promoting his book, “3 Minutes to a Pain-Free Life,” on radio and television. The book, which has sold an estimated 20,000 copies and has received four and five-star ratings on the Amazon and Barnes & Noble Web sites, describes Dr. Weisberg’s “3-Minute Maintenance Method” for pain prevention and relief. This method, he says, will (without expensive ergonomic equipment or medication) eliminate conditions that cause pain by utilizing six different 30-second therapeutic movements. In Chapter One, “The Good News About Pain,” Dr. Weisberg writes: “I have a little anecdote I like to tell my patients when they first come to see me: ‘I've got some good news and some bad news for you. First the bad news: You're in pain. Now the good news: You're in pain. Sounds ridiculous? It does to my patients as well, that is until I give them the same information I'm about to give you. By the time you're done reading this chapter, you will begin to look at pain differently and see it for what it really is: a teacher guiding you to a complete and accurate accounting of what problems are occurring in your body.’ ’’
