New York, N.Y. – Esther Muller, director of Touro College’s Graduate School of Business’ entrepreneurial real estate program and an adjunct professor, has received the Mann Foundation’s Mann of the Year Award at its sixth annual reception held April 25th at Cipriani’s in Manhattan.
Central Islip, NY – Touro Law Center’s student team advanced to the elimination rounds in the prestigious 18th Annual Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria. The competition included 255 teams from more than 60 countries around the world. Touro Law’s team was comprised of Jessica Bryant, Tali Jawitz, Michael Lauterborn and Stephanie Mazzotta.

Central Islip, NY – Touro Law Center and Fordham Law School are co-sponsoring a 2 day conference titled, “Bob Dylan and the Law” on April 4 and 5, 2011 at Lincoln Center. The conference will examine the legal issues discussed in Dylan’s songs and the influence his music has had on lawyers and society. Dylan’s music contains the most frequently cited song lyrics in legal journals and judicial opinions. This conference will include law professors, students, practicing attorneys and judges. Papers presented at the conference will be published in the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
New York, N.Y. – Alan Kadish, M.D., president and CEO of Touro College, today announced that many of the more than 100 students in the first graduating class of Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (TouroCOM) landed top residencies in the recent “Match Day,” the day when medical students across the country learn where they will spend the next three to seven years training to practice medicine. Opened in Harlem in fall 2007, this marks the first year that the school has participated in Match Day.
