Touro Law to Hold Commencement on Sunday, May 30 at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center

Central Islip, NY – Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center’s commencement ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 30 at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center Plaza in New York City. At this year’s ceremony 175 members of the class of 2010 will have their degrees conferred as well as 2 LL.M. candidates. In addition, 17 JD recipients who graduated in 2009 will be honored along with 7 LL.M. candidates in U.S. Legal Studies
The Honorable Fern A. Fisher, Justice, New York State Supreme Court, First Judicial District, Deputy Chief Administrative Judge for Courts within New York City and Director, New York State Access to Justice Program, will be the commencement speaker. Graduating student Gregory Esposito, selected by the class of 2010, will receive the Ronnie D. Cohen "Class Orator" award and speak at the ceremony also. Myra Berman, Director of the Collaborative Court Programs, Assistant Director of Academic Support and Assistant Professor of Law will address the assembly as the Class of 2010 Professor.
