Some Do's:
· Read ahead
· Dress appropriately
· Be enthusiastic
· Make friends with the nurses
· Have a thick skin.

Some Don’ts:
· Be late
· Pretend to know things that you don’t
· Slack off during specialties that do not interest you
· Be afraid to ask questions
