Touro College students at Lander College for Men, Lander College for Women and Lander College of Arts & Sciences, along with Machon l\'Parnassa, and School for Lifelong Education, celebrated their graduation at Touro\'s 39th commencement exercises at Lincoln Center. Congratulations to the class of 2013. And a very special mazal tov to Dean Robert Goldschmidt on the conferral of a much deserved honorary doctorate.

Surrounded by family, faculty and staff, Lander College for Women graduates gathered one last time as students at the school. Before donning cap and gown to walk the few short blocks to the commencement ceremony at Lincoln Center, the Dean, Dr. Marian Stoltz-Loike spoke to the crowd of 150, addressing the graduates, firing them up to remake the world and leave their mark on it. Judging from the decorations on some caps, it’s a message that’s been imbued in them throughout their stay at LCW and one they’re eager to take on.

Rabbi Elihu Marcus was remembered at a memorial service on Oct. 9, as a kind, caring man who inspired his students to greater heights of Torah learning and Jewish observance during the time he taught at Lander College for Women-The Anna Ruth and Mark Hasten School (LCW).

June 27, 2013 – In a festive and intimate celebration, 14 students from Touro College’s Lander College of Arts & Sciences (LAS), Lander College for Women (LCW), Lander College for Men (LCM), and New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) were inducted into the college’s chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, an honor society for those studying history.
