Rabbi Soloveichik, who is widely known as a leading Jewish thinker, theologian and public intellectual will deliver an address titled, “Jews, Christians and the Hobby Lobby Decision.”

In this role, McQuillan will work with students on an individual basis, coordinate and provide skills training workshops, develop student learning materials, coordinate and teach bar-preparation programs and implement new services relevant to enhancing the academic experience for Touro Law students.

Central Islip, N.Y. - The Touro Law Center team of Brian DiPentima, second-year part-time evening student from Westbury, NY, and Brandon Maharahj, second-year full-time student from Deer Park, NY, took top honors at the annual Nassau Academy of Law Hon. Elaine Jackson Stack Moot Court Competition, held March 25-26, 2014 at the Nassau County Bar Association headquarters in Mineola. Mr. DiPentima also received the Best Oralist Award.

New York, N.Y. —Touro’s Lander College of Arts and Sciences in Flatbush (LAS) will offer the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) on weekdays to accommodate Sabbath-observing Jews, beginning in August. This is a test of legal ethics and professional responsibility standards that aspiring lawyers must pass to be eligible for the bar in 48 states.
