Central Islip, NY – Touro Law Center is hosting a 3-day conference “Persecution Through Prosecution: Alfred Dreyfus, Leo Frank and the Infernal Machine” in Paris, France from July 5 – July 7, 2011. The conference is co-sponsored by the American Jewish Committee (AJC), the Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions (CRIF) and SciencesPo and has received the high patronage of Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy, President of the French Republic. SNCF, the French National Railway Corporation, also has provided generous support for the conference.

Gould Book Award to Ken Gormley, author of The Death of American Virtue: Clinton vs. Starr, on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 starting at 5:30 pm. The celebration will include a book signing, lecture and award presentation as well as a reception.

Central Islip, NY - Touro Law Center is pleased to announce that first year students Jeanine Joseph and Aliza Anwar received New York City Bar Diversity Fellowships. Aliza Anwar received placement with the New York City Law Department and Jeanine Joseph secured employment with Perkins Coie.
Central Islip, NY – Touro Law Center is pleased to announce Jared Scotto has received the Outstanding Student Award for the 2011-2012 academic year by the Clinical Legal Education Association (CLEA). The award is presented to a student of each CLEA member school who excels at a clinical course and goes above and beyond in every aspect of the clinical experience. Jared participated in the Veterans’ and Servicemembers’ Rights Clinic, working closely with Professor John Gresham to serve veterans in complicated and sensitive legal matters.
