On May 23rd, at the 154th commencement exercises held at Carnegie Hall, New York Medical College awarded 210 doctor of medicine (M.D.) degrees, 30 doctor of physical therapy (D.P.T.) degrees, 17 doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees, 79 master of science (M.S.) degrees, 101 master of public health (M.P.H.) degrees and 4 doctor of public health (Dr.P.H.) degrees to the Class of 2013. Distinguished physician and public health expert Adewale Troutman, M.D., M.P.H., M.A., delivered the commencement address to the graduates.

The 39th Annual Commencement Ceremonies for the New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) Brooklyn Campuses was held at Walt Whitman Hall in Brooklyn College’s Center for the Performing Arts on June 10, 2013 at 7:00 pm.  The keynote speaker for the event was Governor David Paterson.  Three-hundred sixty-one baccalaureate candidates and 259 associate candidates graduated from the division of Touro College in the ceremony.

Touro University Nevada celebrated the accomplishments of their graduates from programs in Osteopathic Medicine, Medical Health Sciences, Education, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Nursing this past Sunday at commencement exercises, and said goodbye to beloved leader, Dr. Michael Harter.

On Sunday, just before the graduation ceremony, Lander College for Men hosted an awards reception to celebrate the occasion. Dr. Mark Hasten, Chairman of the Board at Touro College, gave a warm welcome; Rav Yonason Sacks, Rosh HaYeshiva of Beis Medrash L\'Talmud offered divrei bracha and using a debate in the Talmud about Pesach Sheni, Rabbi Dr. Moshe Sokol, dean of Lander College for Men, explored the three great challenges of leadership and responsibility Lander graduates will be called upon to meet as they leave the halls of Lander and go out into the world. Roles and responsibilities he knows Lander College for Men has prepared them for well.

New York, N.Y. – Joy. Excitement. Accomplishment. Those were the three most prominent sentiments at the 40th Commencement ceremonies of Touro College’s New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) held at the Walt Whitman Theater in Brooklyn. Between the Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses, NYSCAS awarded 695 bachelor’s degrees and 451 associate’s degrees.

Touro College Los Angeles (TCLA) graduated its seventh graduation ceremony Wednesday evening, June 19 at Sapper Hall at the TCLA West Hollywood campus. Dr. Alan Kadish, Touro’s president, delivered the keynote address, “You are the pioneers,” Dr. Kadish said, “who have laid the foundation for the future of Touro’s growth and its increasing service to the Greater Los Angeles Jewish Community. The time has come to make Touro the institution that befits the second largest Jewish Community in the United States, and the third largest in the world. Your example,” he said, turning to the 19 graduates beside him on the stage, “of spirit, performance and dedication will serve as a shining example to your peers and will attract more young dedicated Jews to Touro.”

Touro College Los Angeles held their 9th graduation on June 19, 2014 at Sapper Hall, graduating 21 students, including Chaim Lowy, the valedictorian; Moishe Cohen, recipient of the business award; Rina Kamravapour recipient of the psychology award; and Ilana Drubach, recipient of the Spirit of Touro Award.
