Central Islip, N.Y. - Touro Law Center Dean Patricia Salkin is pleased to announce the opening of the Community Justice Center, the first law school incubator project to open on Long Island. A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the Center’s opening was held on Tuesday, November 12 at 11:00 am at the law offices located at 300 East Rabro Drive in Hauppauge, N.Y.

Central Islip, NY - Touro Law Center Dean Patricia Salkin is pleased to announce that the Long Island Community Foundation has awarded a grant in the amount of $20,000 to Touro Law Center to fund the research and development of a white paper designed for policymakers, lawmakers, regulators, nonprofits and others engaged in disaster relief and recovery.
New York, N.Y.-- Dr. Henry Abramson, Dean of Touro’s Lander College of Arts & Sciences in Flatbush, will be presenting a lecture series on 20th century Jewish personalities. Jewish History @ J, the popular weekly series, resumes October 31 and will be held on Monday nights through December 19. The lecture series is free and open to the community and will take place from 7-8 pm at Touro College’s Flatbush campus at 1602 Avenue J.
