THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Students may apply for the Fall, Spring or Summer semesters. Our admissions counselors are available to answer any questions and to discuss your individual needs. Students seeking admission to Touro College School of Health Sciences should follow these procedures:
- THE APPLICATION - Submit your completed application, to the office of Admissions at: Bay Shore, Manhattan, or Brooklyn together with a non-refundable application fee (fees vary according to program).
- ACADEMIC RECORDS- Arrange for an official high school transcript and, if applicable, transcripts of any collegiate-level work to be forwarded to the Touro College School of Health Sciences. Candidates will not be evaluated until all applicable transcripts have been received.
- TEST SCORES- Students who have taken the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), the American College Test (ACT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) should have official test score reports sent to Touro. The College Board code for Touro College is 2902 for the SAT and the GRE; the code for the ACT is 2961.
- RECOMMENDATIONS - Two letters of recommendation are required with your application. One letter should be written by a health care practitioner and the other by a teacher or counselor.
- INTERVIEW AND PLACEMENT- Applicants must be interviewed by a designated representative of Touro College School of Health Sciences. In addition, the Admissions Committee may request that an applicant be interviewed by a representative of the Committee.
