Accolades to Dr. Claire Daffner
The OT programs congratulated Dr. Claire Daffner, assistant professor with the BSHS/MSOT program – Manhattan campus - on successfully defending her dissertation and obtaining her PhD in February from Touro University International. Dr. Daffner completed her doctorate in Health Sciences, Administrator/Researcher with a 4.0 grade point average. Her dissertation is titled: “The Effect of Body Image Appearance on Satisfaction with Daily Life Activities in Healthy, White, Premenopausal Normal Weight, Overweight and Obese Women.” Dr. Daffner, a member of the Roster of Fellows of the American Occupational Therapy Association, has been with the School of Health Sciences and occupational therapy programs since 1997.
