Wendy Wood, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA Visits Touro
The BSHS/MSOT (Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy) program was especially honored to have Dr. Wendy Wood, a research associate professor at the Center on Aging, Division of Geriatrics – University of New Mexico, as a visiting professor for the advanced theory and practice course being offered to graduate level OT students. Dr. Wood received her Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from Tufts University, a Master of Arts in occupational therapy and a PhD in occupational science from University of Southern California. Dr. Wood has extensive teaching experience and is the recipient of many prestigious awards. The principal investigator/co-investigator of numerous grants, she is also the author of multiple publications and has presented workshops and educational papers nationally and internationally.
