Occupational Therapy
Wendy Wood, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA Visits Touro
The BSHS/MSOT (Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Mater of Science in Occupational Therapy) program is again honored to have Dr. Wendy Wood, a research associate professor at the Center on Aging, Division of Geriatrics – University of New Mexico, as a visiting professor for the advanced theory and practice course being offered to graduate level OT students. Dr. Wood received her Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from Tufts University, a Master of Arts in occupational therapy and PhD in occupational therapy from the University of Southern California. Dr. Wood has extensive teaching experience and is the recipient of many prestigious awards. The principal investigator/co-investigator of numerous grants, she is also the author of multiple publications and has presented workshops and educational papers nationally and internationally. Dr. Wood will be teaching at both the Manhattan and Bay Shore campuses in March 2008.
