Students from Occupational Therapy Graduate Program-Bay Shore campus are hosting a Falls Prevention Information Session at Home Depot in Bay Shore located at 1881 Sunrise Highway. On Tuesday, January 8th from 10am until 1pm.
With inclement weather in our winter forecast, this community service event will make us all aware of ways to prevent accidents from falls on icy and dry surfaces plus emphasize how to avoid falls in the home and workplace. Twelve students in all will represent the event with a table top display providing informative hand-outs about making our environment safer for everyday living.
