The Occupational Therapy Program is registered with the Division of Professional
Education of the New York State Educational Department. It is accredited by the American
Occupational Therapy Association and the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy
Education (ACOTE), 4720 Montogomery Lane, Bethesda, MD. 20814-3425, (301) 652-2682. The
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is the Certifying Agency.
Graduates of the program are eligible to apply for all occupational therapy state licenses
and professional certification examinations. Licensure is required in New York State.
