Dr. Musikant attended the University of Pennsylvania, receiving his B.A. in 1965 and D.M.D. in 1969. An internship at the Jewish Memorial Hospital (1969-1970) and Endodontic residence at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center (1970-1972) completed his post-graduate studies. Dr. Musikant is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Academy of General Dentistry, The Dental Society of NY, First District Dental Society, Academy of Oral Medicine, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the American Society of Dental Aesthetics. He is also a fellow of the American College of Dentistry (FACD) and a fellow of the International College of Dentistry (FICD).

Dr. Barry Lee Musikant is Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine and Director of Endodontics at Touro College of Dental Medicine.
As a partner in the largest Endodontic practice in Manhattan, Dr. Musikant's 44 plus years of clinical experience have crafted him into one of the top authorities in Endodontics. He has lectured at over 250 international and domestic locations and co-authored over 350 articles in dentistry in major dental journals, domestic as well as international. Dr. Musikant holds 19 patents for co-inventing revolutionary Endodontic Obturation, Instrumentation, Post and Composite Systems.
