Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson is an assistant professor in the Touro College Graduate School of Education’s Severe and Multiple Disabilities Annotation Program, as well as the Early Childhood and Special Education Programs. She received a Master of Science in education from Queens College, with a focus on elementary and special education. Professor Johnson has worked in early childhood education since 1994 with a specialty in early intervention for children with autism. She was a New York City teaching fellow in the Queens College cohort and the recipient of the Carl H. Pforzheimer Award in the Autism/Intellectual Disabilities Doctoral Program at Teachers College/Columbia University.
