Renee Blinder is the coordinator of advisement and counseling at the Lander College/Flatbush. She is a licensed clinical social worker as well as a New York State credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor. Ms. Blinder previously served as a family therapist with The Yatzkan Center, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center servicing Jewish youth and their families. She was also previously employed as a psychotherapist for the Bridge Back to Life Center and as a family therapist at Stuyvesant Square/Beth Israel Medical Center. Ms. Blinder holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brooklyn College in health science and a Masters of Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. She also holds a post-master's certificate in family therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
