Ralph Garcia is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Touro’s School of Health Sciences. He received a Master of Science in physical therapy (PT) from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (formerly the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science) and a Ph.D. from New York University. Dr. Garcia specializes in adult neurological rehabilitation and research in disability, rehabilitation and human performance, and studied the effects of PT and occupational therapy on functional outcomes and quality of life in patients with end-stage renal disease. A member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Research and Neurology divisions of the New York Physical Therapy Association, Dr. Garcia has presented his studies at the APTA and the Renal Research Institute.
