Jason Dov Greenblatt, Assistant to the President and Special Representative for International Negotiations, will be the keynote speaker at the 43rd Annual Commencement Exercises of Touro’s Lander Colleges, Touro College President Dr. Alan Kadish announced today.

Greenblatt will receive an honorary degree in law at the graduation, to be held at David Geffen Hall in Lincoln Center, on May 28,2017.

“Touro College is proud that Mr. Greenblatt will be sharing his perspective on success with our graduates as they embark on a new phase of their lives,” said Dr. Kadish. “He is a passionate, articulate spokesperson for the American Jewish community and as one who has reached the highest levels of his profession while maintaining his Jewish identity and integrity, he is a true role model for our students. We are pleased to extend to him Touro’s highest honor.”

Greenblatt served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of the Trump Organization for the past two decades. He has represented President Trump and his family in diverse legal and business affairs, concentrating on all aspects of domestic and worldwide real estate development. During the campaign, he served as principal advisor on the U.S.-Israel relationship. Greenblatt has also written and lectured extensively on parenting and, with his wife and children, was a co-founder of inspireconversation.com, a website dedicated to promoting bonding between parents and teens and to teaching teens values, ethics and the importance of giving back to society.

“My philosophy, in business and in life, is that bringing people together and working to unite rather than divide, is the strongest path to success. I look forward to sharing that message with Touro’s Lander College graduates and am honored by this opportunity,” said Greenblatt.

Greenblatt received his J.D. degree from the New York University School of Law and worked for Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson before joining the Trump Organization.

“Touro’s Lander Colleges offer students the opportunity to pursue higher education in an environment that promotes respect for their Jewish values. I’m proud of our graduates who will be continuing on to top graduate and professional schools and entering the workplace, armed with knowledge and values,” continued Dr. Kadish.

At commencement, baccalaureate and associate degree candidates from five of Touro’s schools dedicated to enhancing Jewish heritage will be presented: Lander College of Arts and Sciences–Flatbush; Lander College for Men in Queens; Lander College for Women–The Anna Ruth and Mark Hasten School in Manhattan; the School for Lifelong Education in Brooklyn; and Machon L’Parnasa– Institute for Professional Studies, also in Brooklyn.
