Join us for Graduate School of Education SHINES 2025, our annual education conference highlighting excellence, equity, and innovation in the GSE family & beyond!
About the conference
Our theme this year is “Dialogue with the Present & the Future: Shifting Strategies & Practice in Uncertain Times."
This dynamic on-site conference offers a unique platform for an idea exchange on emerging trends, transformative teaching practices, and the future of learning in an era of rapid change. Through insightful discussions and collaborative sessions, we will anticipate the challenges and opportunities shaping education's next frontier. Be part of the conversation that envisions tomorrow’s classrooms and redefines educational paradigms for future generations.
Based upon the Boyer Model of Scholarship (1996) GSE is seeking engaging, interactive presentations in which GSE faculty, GSE candidates, and school partners, share any of the following:
- Effective learning/teaching strategies
- Your own research activities
- Current trends in education
- Forward-looking innovations
Proposals Deadline [Extended]: October 1, 2025
Interactive and poster sessions will explore transformative practices, technologies, and mindsets that make space for proactive agility in meeting the challenges of an ever-changing world. We envision a space for networking and the free and respectful exchange of ideas.
By creating a lived space where all voices are valued, the GSE Shines Conference embodies GSE's mission to prepare a diverse cadre of highly qualified teachers, leaders, knowledge developers, and disseminators, in keeping with the Judaic commitment to social justice, intellectual pursuit, and service to humanity.
