This ceremonial “cloaking” is a rite of passage as a student embarks on a career in medicine. The Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine Middletown campus values the ceremony as symbolizing the entrance into the field of medicine, along with the responsibilities and expectations associated with becoming a physician, and hosts this ceremony as our class of 2023 begin medical school.
