Research Day: Scientific Breakthroughs – The Life Sciences Ecosystem
202 West 43rd Street, New York, NY 10036
Please join us as we honor advancements in research across Touro University at this year's Research Day.
To continue making progress in their respective fields, it is no surprise that often times, a scientist finds themselves as more than an investigator. Be it for publications, for poster presentations or conferences, media outreach, clinical trials or fundraising, a researcher is an editor, a business entrepreneur, and orator. As such, this means working with professionals at different stages during one’s project lifetime. They work with grants managers, with the NIH to negotiate F&A rates, fellow PI’s to determine how funding should be divided, and of course, the students and lab staff or office staff who aid with these innovations from conception to completion (and all the paperwork in between).
This year’s Research Day theme “Scientific Breakthroughs: the Life Sciences Ecosystem” is a token to these crucial connections and skillsets researchers need.
You can attend in person or online.
