2:45 PM: Welcome & Opening Remarks
An address from Dean Goldschmidt and Dr. Robert Bressler, welcoming the founding cohort of the Touro Science Society.
2:55 PM: Our Mission & Student Opportunities
An introduction to the Society's mission statement and the many opportunities available to students within the Society, presented by Faculty Advisor Professor Rivka Borger.
3:10 PM: Stop the Bleed Training
A hands-on trauma first-response course covering tourniquet application, wound packing, and bleeding control fundamentals.
4:10 PM: Certification & Closing
Every attendee receives an official Stop the Bleed certificate, followed by closing remarks and next steps for getting involved.
