Rabbi Frand is the recipient of Touro University’s Rabbi Raphael Zalman Levine HaCohen Endowed Distinguished Talmudic Scholar Award, an honor previously bestowed upon HaRav Asher Weiss and HaRav Dovid Cohen.

The Distinguished Talmudic Scholar Award was generously endowed by Mr. Joel Margolis a”h of Albany, New York. His yahrzeit is 5 Adar 5784 and this shiur and endowed scholarship program is organized l'iluy nishmato.
