Tips for Osteopathic Medicine Students to Take with Them as They Head Out on Rotations.

Dr. Miglietta spoke with the Student Osteopathic Surgical Association (SOSA) at TouroCOM about the "Do's and Dont's of Rotations". Current third year students already on rotations weighed in. Some of the take-aways?

Some Do's:
· Read ahead
· Dress appropriately
· Be enthusiastic
· Make friends with the nurses
· Have a thick skin.

Some Don’ts:
· Be late
· Pretend to know things that you don’t
· Slack off during specialties that do not interest you
· Be afraid to ask questions
