The internet opened new possibilities of creating and sharing content, and educators have taken this as an opportunity to revise their classes, making them more interactive, collaborative and suited for today’s learner. However, because it is so easy to share content, it often becomes overwhelming to research software or platforms.

With such issues in mind, I have compiled a list of educational tools for your classroom. This list serves two purposes: (a) it offers different options through which you can convey your knowledge to your class, and (b) it provides you with new ideas to diversify the class assignments.

In this library guide, you will find tools to annotate the web, create videos, animations, interactive maps and timelines, infographics, posters, flipbooks, and many types of quizzes. You will also find a list of websites where to find openly licensed images, videos and music.
