Canvas Assessment Tools
Five Steps to the Successful use of Canvas Assessment Tools and Outcomes
Schools and instructors can monitor and improve upon student learning by leveraging assessment tools in Canvas. With Touro’s implementation of Canvas, school administration and instructors have the opportunity to design and deploy assessments which are aligned to their institutional and course based outcomes. During this webinar, we will:
- Convey the importance of getting buy-in from your educational team.
- Describe how the assessment tools enable schools to create outcome driven rubrics, assignments, discussions, and quizzes.
- Provide an overview of Touro’s Canvas’s account framework.
- Demonstrate how school administration and instructors can view student mastery of institutional and course outcomes.
Impart recommendation for delivering workshops for school administration and instructors to practice design and deployment of outcome based assessment tools.

TCUS Assessment Webinar - Curriculum Mapping
November 5, 2019
Our pharmacy schools have taken several innovative steps in terms of curriculum mapping. Please join us to understand how other schools can learn from their experiences.
Curriculum mapping is essential to curriculum design in maintaining consistency and curricular quality control. This process comes with its own set of challenges, particularly in light of recent changes in accreditor requirements involving tracking and accountability. This seminar aims to provide an overview of the curricular mapping process, discuss changes, challenges and opportunities and share some of the lessons learned with implementing an efficient and sustainable mapping process.
