GSB Salutes Female Founders & Entrepreneurs.

Touro GSB joins more than 242 universities in 32 countries for the 7th annual weekly celebration of Women Entrepreneurship Week 2020. All are welcomed to hear from seven incredible female founders & entrepreneurs on Tuesday, Oct. 27th, at 7 pm.

We’ve put together a lineup of inspiring female entrepreneurs whose stories will move & excite you. Listen for behind-the-scenes personal stories of challenges, failures and triumphs with practical street-smart lessons and advice. Our featured speakers come from a variety of industries each with her own unique journey.

Ms. Goldberg joined the SBA after 30 years as an accomplished entrepreneur. As the daughter of trade magazine publishers, Beth is an executive leader with invaluable experience in both the private and government sectors. Ms. Goldberg overseas the delivery & efficiency of SBA’s programs and services to 1.6 million small businesses employing 5 million people with annual payroll of $330 billion – this is the largest of all SBA’s district offices across the country.

She has led her team working with healthcare systems (private, state and federal) to maximize reimbursements thru innovative solutions including Physician Advisory Services. She has taught/mentored and developed programs for Initiatives including: Women Entrepreneurs of New York City (WeNYC); SBA Nationwide Emerging Leaders Program; HealthCare Entrepreneurship Community Challenge (Northwell Ventures), JP Morgan Chase Foundation Ascend@ Hofstra University and the SBA Women Business Centers, Return to Work After COVID-19.

Ms. Best was awarded the 2020 US Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) HealthCare Innovator of The Year; US SBA, Women Business Champion of the Year and Entrepreneur 360 Ranked business.

A native of England and current Connecticut resident, Hannah has spent her entire career fulfilling her passion for working with children. After earning a degree in childhood education and development, she nannied in the private sector for over ten years and in 2011 Hannah founded The Giggling Pig Art and Party Studio.

The Giggling Pig’s mission is to inspire children to use and develop their innate creativity, confidence and compassion. As an author and illustrator, Hannah has developed a brand that provides children and families a platform to unleash their natural talents.

In 2017 Ms. Perry won the Gold Award for Female Entrepreneur of the Year and was also recognized as one of the top 40 under 40 female entrepreneurs in Fairfield county Connecticut.

Ms. Moskovitz is the Founder & CEO of Heritage Equity Partners, a woman-owned real estate and development firm specializing in mixed-use development in the New York metro region. In addition to the two-million square feet of commercial and residential properties the firm and its partners already completed, Heritage currently has a number of major projects in various stages of development. Prior to founding Heritage, Ms. Moskovits served as managing director of private equity and venture capital investment activity at Cammeby’s Capital Group, where she also developed a merchant banking practice. Ms. Moskovits, who holds an MBA from Bar Ilan University, and a B.A. from Touro College. She also serves on the National Advisory Board of Springtime Enterprises, a nonprofit supporting women’s access to capital markets, mature growth and middle-market private equity opportunities.

Elena is an innovator and operations leader. She worked in-house for various food and beverage consumer products brands, helping build out their supply chains to help scale from pre-production to >$5M. She’s now switched gears from making products to cleaning up the litter they leave behind. Her new initiative, Rubbish, is a new approach to trash, litter and neighborhood problems. Rubbish uses technology to understand litter trends. The rubbish iOS app maps litter, and then rubbish can evaluate each block’s footprint to identify better solutions for cleaner communities. Elena immigrated to the U.S from Russia, graduated from Fordham University and currently lives in Oakland, CA.

Victoria Eli recently obtained her MBA from Touro College Graduate School of Business (GSB). She is the owner of Goddess Creations LLC whose mission is to provide beauty services and merchandise to inspire and help women feel confident and adored.  She is also a Talent Acquisition Business Partner with Grant Associates helping NYC tackle unemployment by assisting the community to find skilled jobs within the industrial transportation and construction industry.
