Dr. Troiano has a dual role within the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. His role as Associate Director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Department is the focal point of his overall responsibilities for the College. Dr. Troiano is responsible for the day to day operations of the Physical Therapy Department on the Bay Shore campus. In his role as Administrator, he has become adept at dealing with student advisement and strategies to ensure student success. Along with his administrative duties Dr. Troiano is involved in teaching DPT 609 Physical Therapy Interventions II, DPT 654 Physical Therapy Interventions IV, DPT 664 Professional Service and DPT 691 Evaluation and Management of the Hand. He has been with Touro College since 1990, starting as a teaching assistant during which time he was involved in many of the courses within the curriculum.
Robert Troiano PT, DPT, CHT received his Bachelor’s degree in health and sciences from Cornell University, earned his Master’s degree in physical therapy from Touro College and went on to earn his doctorate in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.
