Dr. Yoram Neumann and Dr. Edith Neumann of Touro University Worldwide Win Internationally Recognized Hermes Creative Award

Los Angeles, CATouro University Worldwide (TUW) is pleased to announce that Dr. Yoram Neumann and Dr.  Edith Neumann won a Gold Hermes Creative Award for their article titled “The Robust Learning Model (RLM): A Comprehensive Approach To A New Online University.” The recognition was in the Writing/Publication category. The article was published in the Journal of College Teaching & Learning in their January 2010 edition. The award is a special recognition of the contribution that the article has made to the advancement of knowledge and good practices of online learning.

Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, web and free-lance professionals. The Association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards for excellence.

Dr. Yoram and Dr. Edith Neumann’s article outlines the components of the Robust Learning Model (RLM). This learning model is that of the “new online university,” one that offers numerous degree programs at all degree levels. Dr. Yoram and Dr. Edith Neumann reflect on the importance of this model in their award-winning article and have integrated this practice into all of the courses offered by Touro University online.
