The life sciences industry is shifting from a focus on delivering volumes of products and compounds to delivering improved patient outcomes and value to the healthcare system. CHO knows that patient care lies at the heart of our clients’ business, and it is our inspiration as well. Every day, we aim to deliver better, more measurable outcomes for our clients, their patients, their shareholders and the broader healthcare ecosystem.

Among the multitude of CHO-associated projects includes assisting a large pharmaceutical manufacturer in the development and validation of an index related to frequent heartburn. That research was designed to document decisions made by physicians about prescribing proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) or other medication recommendations for patients who do not have endoscopically confirmed gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). CHO was also involved in conducting psychometric analyses for the validation of three instruments to measure breakthrough pain.
