Elizabeth Samson holds a BA in Political Science from Queens College, a JD from Fordham Law School, and an LLM in International & European Law from the University of Amsterdam. She teaches courses in American Politics and the judicial process.

Prof. Samson has held Fellow positions in various think tanks including the Hudson Institute, the Henry Jackson Society, and the Middle East Forum. Her policy work broadly focuses on foreign policy, national security, international law and constitutional law. Prof. Samson has authored several peer-reviewed legal publications on topics of comparative international law and humanitarian law. Her writings have appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, the Washington Times, the New York Post, The Hill, Middle East Forum Observer and other publications. She is also an attorney with expertise in New York State guardianship law.
