Brittany Handler is a Senior Instructional Designer in the Department of Online Education at Touro University, where she supports faculty in designing engaging, accessible, and high-quality online learning experiences. She brings over 10 years of experience in education management, curriculum development, and instructional technology, including six years at Touro University.
Brittany began her Touro career as an Instructional Designer for the School of Health Sciences and now serves as a Senior Instructional Designer for the university’s online initiatives. In addition to her design work, she is also an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Technology, where she teaches Foundations of Instructional Design both asynchronously and synchronously on Zoom. This dual role allows her to bring firsthand experience from teaching across modalities to her faculty training and course design support.
A former NYC Department of Education science teacher, Brittany loves to help faculty find technical solutions to pedagogical problems. A lifelong learner herself, she is passionate about encouraging faculty to explore new strategies and tools that enhance teaching and spark student engagement.
She holds a B.A. in Biology and Adolescent Education (7–12) from SUNY Cortland/SUNY Old Westbury and an M.S. in Educational Technology from LIU Post, along with multiple certifications from Google, Apple, and Microsoft.
