Joseph Woldman came to instructional design and educational development through his experience teaching as a graduate student in Columbia University’s Department of Art History and Archaeology. He supported faculty members and graduate students in his department with the transition to remote teaching at the start of the pandemic–he then continued to hone these skills as an Online Learning Specialist at Princeton University’s McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning. Joseph has developed and facilitated many workshops, including inclusive and equitable teaching, teaching over Zoom, and teaching with online tools. He is passionate about leveraging design to make classes more accessible and inclusive.
