Grant Writing Support
Touro provides grant writing support for select projects as determined by the Office of the Provost for Biomedical Research. These services are highly selective and prioritized based on project type and sponsor.
Eligibility
Grant writing support may be requested by Principal Investigators from:
- Touro University
- Touro University California
- Touro University Nevada
- New York Medical College
Projects may range from single to multi-investigator and across all disciplines.
Types of Projects Considered
Priority is given to research projects, but the following will also be considered:
- Training
- Development
- Demonstration
- Service
Support Details
Preference is given to proposals submitted to external sponsors, particularly federal sponsors. Support will be limited to a set number of hours of grant writer time, available to the Principal Investigator.
Applications must be submitted at least 90 days prior to the sponsor’s submission deadline.

Decisions will be made by the Office of the Provost for Biomedical Research.
Application Requirements
Applications are limited to one page and must include:
- Principal Investigator's Name
- Names of Co-Principal Investigators / Co-Investigators
- Sponsor
- Proposal Deadline
- Type and Structure of Project (e.g., Research; R01; Single Investigator)
- Period of Performance
- Total Budget (Direct, Indirect, and Total Costs)
- Draft Project Title and Abstract
