- "Old" Common Rule Regulations DHHS. These are the federal regulations for human subjects research protections that govern proposals approved by either the HSIRB or IRB #1 prior to January 21, 2019.

The Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) provides leadership in the protection of the rights, welfare, and well-being of human subjects involved in research conducted or supported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
